May 8th: Silvertip Hole #6

Silvertip Hole #6 -- 205yd Par3 Handicap 16
Silvertip:
The second par three on the course is the 205 yard 6th that requires a tee shot to carry a pond that is in front of the green. This course features many water features, including "crystal-clear trout ponds." The course has enhanced the natural integrity of the Bow Valley, as Furber has complimented the spectacular surroundings utilizing beautiful rockwork to create waterfalls, streams and ponds.

Fishing in the Area:
Shimmering stocked ponds are just out your door, and the Bow River (recognized as one of the finest fishing rivers in the world) and numerous lakes and other rivers offer tremendous fishing opportunities. This is an activity that could be done one of our first few mornings or on Friday (a.k.a. 'Get in touch with nature day'). A one day fishing license does cost $26cad and a guide is recommended. Keep this in mind as we later lock down our plans for the final day /only non-golfing day of the trip.

  2. Yeah I'm definitely down for doing some fishing, that would be a cool thing to do on the last day
