Mt.Kidd Hole #13

Mt. Kidd @ Kananaskis Country Golf Course Hole #13 392yd Par4 Handicap 8

This tree-lined fairway offers little room for error off of the tee. An uphill shot into a green that slopes away (allow for some roll) from you can make this simple looking hole very challenging. A pair of straight shots are needed on hole #13 if par or better is to be made.

Kananaskis Country GC:
Located near the abrupt thrust of towering Mount Kidd is the fine 36 holes of Kananaskis County Golf Course. The two 18s - named Mount Kidd and Mount Lorette - meander along the gushing Kananaskis River that seems to be in a hurry to get where it's going.

Money Conversion:
We're gonna have to pay cash for more than you think: National park entrance, tipping at courses (and by the way I plan to have my clubs cleaned and do bag dropping...I mean we're spending $200/round, what's another $5 to really do this trip to the nines (or 18s...ha!).

Tripadvisor review of guests at the FCL: We had our American dollars converted into Canadian dollars at the ATB Financial Bank in Canmore (across the parking lot from Safeway). The staff was friendly and told you up front that a small fee was charged to make the money conversion.

Looks to me like they give 1.0626cad / $1usd. With the current exchange rate at 1.08728 and no mention of an exorbitant fees, this might not be our worst route.
