Mt. Kidd @ Kananaskis Country Golf Course Hole #9 408-yd Par4 Handicap 11
Pin placement can dictate which of the two fairways you select off the tee. You can't see the creek from the tee; however, it can come into play on both your tee and approach shots. The deep tiered green slopes dramatically from back to front, making club selection critical to scoring success on this Par 4.
Kananaskis Country GC:
Mt Kidd has less water than Mt. Lorette and is easier. An incredible amount of fairway bunkers make accuracy a premium on this course, and it possesses one of the greatest par 3's in the area. The experience is unmatched. This course is in absolutely pristine conditions. Once the valet takes your car away, your own breath will be taken away. The view from even the practice putting green is unbelievable as the courses are set in the valley with mountains surrounding.
Always bring a large bell or bullhorn with you in grizzly country; this gives them plenty of notice that you're coming. If you forget, yodel frequently. A whistle can sound like a marmot (yummy) and single shouts are ineffective. As for alligator noises, they're too low to be effective.
Awww, a courtesy fairway for Halbert.
