Mt.Kidd Hole #2

Mt. Kidd @ Kananaskis Country Golf Course Hole #2 615-yd Par5 Handicap 1

The perfect tee shot finds you to the left of the fairway bunkers. With the prevailing wind being in your face, distance is at a premium in order to be successful on this challenging Par 5. Accuracy becomes extremely important on your approach shot to this relatively small, well-bunkered two-tiered green.

Kananaskis Country GC:
136 irregularly shaped sand traps, tree lined fairways and strategically placed ponds make this course a challenge for all levels.

The Hike To Do:
Mt. Indefatigable -- If you have only time to do one hike in Kananaskis, and you are fairly fit, then you must hike the Indefatigable Trail. This trail starts from the Upper Lake and climbs up until you get a breathtaking view of both the Upper Kananaskis and Lower Kananaskis Lakes. Wear hiking boots as near the top it gets fairly steep, with some loose rock. Not a hike for people afraid of heights.

  1. This course appears to be carved out of a coniferous forest. Wide fairways and massive bunkers characterize this course?
